A bit of an experiment here, trying out a slideshow. Let me know what you think.

Excellent – really crisp shots – maybe a bit more of a delay between dissolves……

Thanks Arthur. Not sure how I slow them down, but I’ll look into it.

Looks good but I think the approach you’ve used so far – with pictures linked by text – is better for telling the story of the journey: it obviously gives you more scope than a relatively limited caption. I’d suggest using a combination of the occasional gallery, videos and photos with linking text. Hope that’s helpful!

Still following your excellent blog from here in deepest Berkshire but I hope to be back in Tanzania before too long which will help my growing wanderlust.

Thanks Andrew, I’ll try combinations of them all. Have a good time in beautiful Tanzania.

Lovely – but slightly too fast to read!

Yes, I don’t think I can slow it down. It’s a fixed speed.

    Great pics Gaia !

Now, if you placed the captions right underneath the images, within the black frame, you’d have the best contrast for a speedier reading.

Unfortunately, I can’t jig the slideshow options much. Otherwise that would make sense.
