We’re leaving the Maldives – and South Asia – with regret. These islands are spectacularly beautiful and they also possess a precious silence, which is near impossible to find elsewhere. Where else can you find more uninhabited tropical islands than inhabited? Swim with whale sharks and manta rays, turtles and cuttlefish? The people are delightful and the weather perfect. It will only get harder from now on.
